5 Jeonbuk Residents Who Visited Itaewon Clubs During COVID-19 Test 'Negative'
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Five residents of Jeonbuk who visited Itaewon clubs in Seoul at the same time as a confirmed COVID-19 case all tested negative.
On the 10th, Jeonbuk health authorities announced that all five Jeonbuk residents who visited Itaewon clubs, as notified by the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, tested negative for COVID-19 after specimen testing.
Two others who were tested alongside them also received negative results that morning.
Jeonbuk health authorities plan to encourage voluntary reporting (anonymous) and testing through emergency disaster messages, as there may be more Jeonbuk residents who visited Itaewon clubs besides these five.
Since the 8th, Jeonbuk has been sending emergency disaster messages to collect voluntary reports from residents who visited the King, Trunk, and Queen clubs in Itaewon, Seoul on the 2nd.
