Jeonbuk Governor Song Ha-jin Puts Full Effort into Resolving National Budget and Provincial Administration Issues

According to Jeonbuk Province on the 8th, Governor Song visited the National Assembly that day and explained the necessity of Jeonbuk's leap to become the carbon industry capital and the passage of the National Public Medical University Act to Democratic Party floor leader Kim Tae-nyeon, lawmakers Kim Jin-pyo, Lee In-young, Future Korea Party lawmaker Jeong Un-cheon, and independent lawmaker Lee Yong-ho, requesting their active cooperation.
Governor Song congratulated Floor Leader Kim Tae-nyeon on his inauguration and asked for support in the prompt passage of the National Public Medical University Act, attracting the Korea Carbon Industry Promotion Agency to Jeonbuk, and designation as a carbon convergence regulatory free zone.
In particular, he proposed the balanced allocation of standing committee positions in the 21st National Assembly so that newly elected lawmakers from Jeonbuk can further lead regional development.
Governor Song then met with lawmakers Kim Jin-pyo, Lee Yong-ho, Jeong Un-cheon, and Lee In-young to once again express his gratitude for their special interest and considerable help throughout the entire three-year process from the proposal to the passage of the Carbon Materials Act in the National Assembly.
Furthermore, he requested cooperation once again to unite efforts for the establishment of the Korea Carbon Industry Promotion Agency and designation of a carbon industry regulatory free zone so that Jeonbuk can solidify its position as the carbon industry capital based on an institutional foundation through the advancement of the carbon industry ecosystem.
He also emphasized the need for attention and support to ensure the prompt passage of the National Public Medical University Act to strengthen the responsibility of public health care, which protects the lives and health of the people, amid the current situation where awareness of infectious diseases has increased due to COVID-19 and the necessity of establishing a public medical system is growing.
Governor Song has recently been going back and forth between the National Assembly, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and other central government departments, fully committed to securing next year's national budget and resolving provincial issues.
Meanwhile, Jeonbuk Province plans to continue multidimensional activities targeting central government departments and the Ministry of Economy and Finance until the end of this month, when the ministry budget formulation is completed, to secure the national budget.
