Female Investigator Sexual Harassment: Current Prosecutor Admits Charges in First Trial
[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Cho] A current prosecutor who was indicted on charges of sexually harassing a female investigator working with him admitted all charges at the first trial.
Prosecutor A, affiliated with the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, stated at the first hearing on charges including forced molestation held on the 8th under the presiding of Judge Seongwan Jeong of Criminal Division 14 at the Seoul Central District Court, "I admit all the facts of the indictment."
Prosecutor A's attorney said, "The defendant is sincerely reflecting," and requested, "He has not even had the opportunity to apologize to or attempt a settlement with the victim, so we ask for some time to attempt this."
