Gwangju Gwangsan Police Station Launches Drunk Driving Prevention Campaign

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Gwangsan Police Station (Chief Park Seok-il) announced on the 8th that it conducted a joint campaign to prevent drunk driving with the Gwangju Gwangsan District Addiction Management Integrated Support Center (Director Kim Han-seok) on the 7th.
This campaign, the second following last month, was organized to raise awareness of the dangers of drunk driving and the importance of safe driving, as drunk driving accidents have been occurring repeatedly in the local community.
The campaign was conducted alongside selective drunk driving checks.
By placing banners to prevent drunk driving, the campaign provided information on the dangers of drunk driving and alcohol-related facts, contributing to the proper understanding and awareness of alcohol.
Kim Han-seok, Director of the Gwangsan District Addiction Management Integrated Support Center, stated, “We urge the establishment of a responsible and healthy drinking culture within the community and plan to actively carry out various activities to improve awareness and promote prevention of drinking problems.”
