Purchase and Visiting Customers Receive Onnuri Gift Certificate Event... Kia Motors Domestic Market Activation Promotion
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Kia Motors announced on the 8th that it will implement a customer promotion to help revitalize the domestic economy, which has been struggling due to COVID-19 and other factors.
Kia Motors plans to lead the revitalization of the local economy by holding an event in May that provides Onnuri gift certificates, which are used in local markets, to customers who purchase vehicles and visit showrooms.
In May, Kia will provide Onnuri gift certificates according to the vehicle purchased: Morning (700,000 KRW), K3 (300,000 KRW), Stinger (700,000 KRW), K9 (1,500,000 KRW), Sportage (500,000 KRW), and Carnival (500,000 KRW).
Additionally, Kia has prepared a lottery event where 100 returning customers will be selected to receive National Tourism gift certificates worth approximately 200,000 KRW.
Regardless of vehicle purchase, Kia will also hold a lottery event for 400 customers who visit Kia showrooms, awarding Onnuri gift certificates (200 people) and Happy Money gift certificates (200 people), each worth about 50,000 KRW.

Meanwhile, Kia plans to actively use various gift certificates for employee rewards and other purposes to promote domestic consumption. Furthermore, in May, Kia will donate 1,000 KRW per vehicle sold to support the ‘Happy Mobility Sharing Campaign,’ which provides living and educational supplies to children’s families affected by COVID-19. Kia intends to carry out various activities to overcome the pandemic.
