View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Seon-gap) has taken the initiative to provide advance payment of instructor fees to ensure the livelihood stability of instructors running community center programs, as the suspension of community center operations due to COVID-19 has been prolonged.
Currently, there are 98 community center instructors active in Gwangjin-gu. Instructors who wish to receive advance payment of their fees can submit an application form to the community center in their district where they are active through non-face-to-face methods such as email, fax, or mail from the 11th to the 15th.
The support amount is up to 500,000 KRW per person per month and can be received for up to two months. Detailed matters such as application schedules and support criteria may vary by district depending on the deliberation and resolution results of each district’s residents' autonomy (committee) meeting.
