40s Wearing 'Sex Crime Electronic Ankle Bracelet' Dies After Jumping into Han River
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] A man in his 40s who was wearing an electronic location tracking device (electronic anklet) due to a sex crime died after jumping into the Han River by himself.
According to the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul on the 7th, Mr. A (42) jumped into the Han River from Gwangjin Bridge at around 10:25 p.m. on the 6th and died. At the time of death, Mr. A, who was wearing the electronic anklet, was reported missing by a Seoul Eastern Probation Office official monitoring his location, who noticed his movements stopped near Gwangjin Bridge, and he was found in the Han River.
It was reported that Mr. A was not linked to the 'Nth Room' case or other related incidents.
