[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Shinhan Financial Investment is conducting coding education for all employees to strengthen digital capabilities.
Shinhan Financial Investment announced on the 7th that it will conduct an online coding education program using the Python programming language for all employees. The program will be held in five sessions from this month until October, targeting all employees below department heads. By learning Python, a programming language fundamental to big data and artificial intelligence (AI), the goal is to enhance logical thinking and problem-solving skills, increase understanding of digital technology, and strengthen employees' digital mindset.
In this training course, not only basic coding courses but also various courses such as object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data science are available for current developers to choose from. This is expected to promote company-wide digital transformation. It was explained that after the pilot training, there were achievements such as programming for stock price and performance data collection for algorithmic trading at branches.
