Ministop Hosts the 28th Environmental Love Dream Tree Drawing Contest
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Convenience store Ministop is hosting the '28th Environmental Love Dream Tree Drawing Contest.'
The 'Ministop Environmental Love Dream Tree Drawing Contest' is a Ministop social contribution activity held annually to support the creative activities of local community dream trees and to raise awareness among children about the importance of environmental protection. This year marks its 28th year.
The contest is open to students from 1st to 6th grade in elementary schools nationwide. To participate, contestants can receive contest drawing paper at any Ministop store nationwide, draw a picture matching the theme using crayons or paint, and then submit it back to the store.
The theme is 'My Own Way to Protect Our Village from Environmental Destruction.' Participants are encouraged to freely express various thoughts on environmental protection with imagination and creativity. The submission period is until the 29th of this month.
Winners will be announced on the website after judging on or after the 26th of next month, and individual text messages will be sent to the winners.

The 28th Dream Tree Drawing Contest is co-hosted with Green Post Korea and sponsored by eight companies including the Ministry of Environment, Maeil Dairies, and Sangha Farm. Award categories include the Minister of Environment Award (1 person), Ministop CEO Award (3 people), Green Post Korea CEO Award (5 people), and Dream Tree Award (200 people). Environmental scholarships will be given to winners in the top three award categories, and for the Minister of Environment Award and Ministop CEO Award winners, a tree will be planted in the winner’s name at their current school.
