Yongsan-gu, Woman in Her 50s Returning from the US Tests Positive for COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yongsan-gu (District Mayor Seong Jang-hyun) has reported its 19th confirmed case of COVID-19.
The confirmed case is a woman in her 50s who arrived from the United States on April 28 and showed no particular symptoms.
On May 1, a specimen was collected at the Yongsan-gu screening clinic, and she was finally confirmed positive at 8:20 a.m. on May 2.
The district is conducting an epidemiological investigation to further identify the infection route, movement paths, and contacts. The confirmed patient was transferred to an isolation bed at Boramae Hospital at 1 p.m. today.
The main movement routes are as follows.

- 17:00: Arrival at Incheon Airport (from the United States) *Asymptomatic, one accompanying person tested negative
- 19:00 ~ 20:00: Home (used private car, wore a mask)
▣ April 29 (Wednesday) ~ April 30 (Thursday): Home (self-quarantine)
▣ May 1 (Friday)
- 16:45: Yongsan-gu screening clinic (used private car, wore a mask)

The district is conducting disinfection of the patient’s home and nearby areas as the confirmed patient has been admitted to an isolation hospital.
