At the meeting, Ambassador Cho emphasized the need to strengthen medical capabilities to ensure the safety of UN PKO personnel under the COVID-19 circumstances, and stated that South Korea, as the host country of the UN Peacekeeping Ministerial Meeting in April 2021, will continue to contribute to advancing discussions related to enhancing health capabilities.
