BTS Jimin Reveals New Album Work Process... "Organizing Members' Opinions"
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] BTS member Jimin revealed the process of working on their new album on the official YouTube channel 'BANGTANTV'. He then announced that he has become the PM (Project Manager) for the new album.
On the 1st, on 'BANGTANTV', Jimin stated, "Our team is handling the album production ourselves this time." He continued, "We selected PMs for each field, and I am in charge of music." Jimin said, "I still don’t know exactly how we can do more," but added, "I am trying to be helpful."
Additionally, Jimin explained, "As the PM, I will organize how the members want to work on the (music), what style of songs they want to do, how they want to structure it, and which members would fit well, then discuss these with the company."
In particular, Jimin also shared the process of organizing the discussions he had with the BTS members that day.
Jimin said, "The members gave some additional opinions, so I just need to organize those and send them by email," adding, "Organizing it is more fun than I thought." He continued, "There is a sense of pride in properly organizing and delivering the members’ opinions," creating a warm atmosphere.
That day, Jimin ended the broadcast by saying he would go deliver the organized content himself and greeted viewers with "I will come often."
Meanwhile, BTS members plan to share the process of working on their new album with fans through 'BANGTANTV'.
