[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Hyerim, former member of the group Wonder Girls, is set to marry Taekwondo athlete Shin Min-cheol in July after seven years of dating.
Hyerim's agency, Le Entertainment, stated on the 1st, "Hyerim and Shin Min-cheol have maintained their love with a steadfast heart, building trust and faith, and are now bearing the beautiful fruit of marriage."
They added, "The wedding is planned to take place at a location in Seoul in July, but the details are still being discussed."
The agency also asked for warm congratulations and support for the couple as they embark on a new chapter in their lives.
Meanwhile, Hyerim and Shin Min-cheol have been dating for seven years since their first meeting in 2013. The two are currently appearing on MBC's 'If You Envy, You Lose' and have been sharing their daily dating life.
After Wonder Girls disbanded in 2017, Hyerim focused on her solo activities and studies. Shin Min-cheol graduated from Kyung Hee University with a degree in Taekwondo and is currently the CEO of the extreme Taekwondo team Mirme.
