T'way Air to Operate Gimpo-Busan Route Until the 31st
Scheduled to operate 4 times daily throughout May
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] T'way Air announced on the 1st that it will operate the Gimpo~Busan route until the 31st of this month.
According to T'way Air, the Gimpo~Busan route is an irregular route, operating 4 times daily throughout May, with a total of 248 flights and supplying 46,872 seats.
Originally, T'way Air operated a total of 4 Jeju routes (departing from Gimpo, Daegu, Gwangju, and Cheongju) on domestic flights. With the launch of the Gimpo~Busan route, T'way Air has entered inland routes for the first time.
T'way Air expects that the launch of the Gimpo~Busan route will increase convenience for local residents who experienced inconvenience due to reduced flights after the COVID-19 pandemic, and also expects some performance improvement due to the recovery of domestic flight demand. They plan to consider additional domestic flight increases depending on future demand.
