'AirPods Rival' Google Pixel Buds 2 Released... 220,000 KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] Google's wireless earphones 'Pixel Buds 2' were released in the United States on the 27th (local time). The price is $179 (approximately 220,000 KRW).
The economic media CNBC reported the launch of Pixel Buds 2 on the same day, introducing them as the "Google version of AirPods." It is evaluated that consumers who want the functions of AirPods can use them conveniently on Android phones without any additional software manipulation, instead of using an iPhone. However, they do not have noise cancellation features like the AirPods Pro, which costs around $249.
Pixel Buds 2 are integrated with Google Assistant, an AI voice recognition assistant, and real-time interpretation and translation apps. They also have music control features such as "Adapted Sound," which optimizes volume according to the activity. They allow up to 5 hours of music listening and 2.5 hours of calls on a single charge.
