View original image[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Min Jun-young] Famous YouTuber YangPang (Yang Eun-ji, 24) has denied the allegations in a video accusing her of intercepting an apartment sales contract and forging private documents, stating that the claims are not true.
On the 27th, YouTuber GuJae-yeok released a video on his channel titled "Interesting Facts About Filial YouTuber YangPang’s 100 Million Won Real Estate Deposit Scam and Private Document Forgery."
GuJae-yeok said, "She decided to purchase an apartment for herself and her family and searched for real estate. Then, she found an 80-pyeong penthouse located in Dong-gu, Busan, priced at 1.08 billion won."
He continued, "The informant, considering YangPang’s public status, generously reduced the price by 70 million won and drafted a sales contract. This was not a preliminary contract but an official real estate sales contract."
GuJae-yeok added, "After drafting the contract, YangPang’s family disappeared. The informant found out three months later through news articles that YangPang had purchased another house."
He pointed out, "Once the contract is stamped, it cannot be canceled without mutual agreement. To cancel the contract, a penalty of 10%, which is 101 million won, must be paid."
GuJae-yeok also raised suspicions of private document forgery involving YangPang’s parents. He said, "When the informant (seller) sent a certified letter demanding YangPang fulfill the contract, YangPang acknowledged the contract but claimed it was null and void because the deposit was not paid, sending a certified letter to that effect."
He continued, "The informant sent another certified letter citing Supreme Court precedents that contradicted YangPang’s claim. Then, YangPang shifted all responsibility to the real estate agent, claiming her parents acted without her permission, making it unauthorized agency."
GuJae-yeok explained, "If this claim is true, YangPang’s parents forged private documents. If YangPang insists on unauthorized agency just to avoid paying 101 million won, her parents would become criminals."

She said, "We only proceeded with a preliminary contract based on the real estate agent’s words," and added, "We want to clarify that there was absolutely no act of 'fraud' and to prevent further misunderstandings, we are disclosing some evidence and parts of the phone conversation with the agent."
She explained, "(The real estate agent) persuaded my mother to make a preliminary contract first, saying the property might be taken, and repeatedly said that without a preliminary deposit of 5 million won, the contract would be invalid."
YangPang said, "However, after my mother confirmed that the actual transaction price of the apartment listed for over 1 billion won was 590 million won, she contacted the agent to request a price reduction," adding, "After the agent replied that the price adjustment was difficult, we notified the cancellation of the contract."
She further explained, "Afterwards, our family believed the contract was canceled, even visiting other real estate listings with the agent, and we were completely unaware until the certified letter arrived."
