Seongnam City Recruits 400 Participants for Public Facility Disinfection
[Asia Economy (Seongnam) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting 400 participants for the public facility disinfection project to prevent the spread of COVID-19 until the 1st of next month.
They will be assigned to each neighborhood administrative welfare center in Seongnam from the 11th of next month until August 17th to carry out disinfection activities at public facilities in the area.
Seongnam City will pay them a daily wage of 51,540 KRW based on 6 hours of work per weekday (30 hours per week). Additionally, 5,000 KRW for incidental expenses and 5,000 KRW as a special allowance for the disinfection project will be paid separately.
Participants are required to enroll in the four major social insurances: National Pension, Health Insurance, Employment Insurance, and Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance.
Eligibility is limited to Seongnam citizens aged 18 to under 65 who are unemployed or have no regular income as of the application date.

Applicants should apply at the administrative welfare center of their residential neighborhood within the deadline. Selected candidates will be notified individually and announced on the Seongnam City Hall website on the 7th of next month.
