On the same day, President Moon posted a short message titled "Respect and gratitude for the dedication of medical staff" on his Facebook, stating, "I hope our support becomes a source of pride for all medical staff," explaining the purpose of joining the campaign.
President Moon expressed his gratitude, saying, "'Thanks to the medical staff,' precious lives are being protected, and we are winning the fight against the virus," and added, "It was possible to be recognized worldwide as a 'model country for quarantine,' and we have gradually begun preparing for daily life."
He then nominated the next participants for the campaign: the animated character "Baby Shark," developed by a domestic company, volleyball player Kim Yeon-koung, and sign language interpreter Kwon Dong-ho.
President Moon reiterated, "Gathering all our support, we express our gratitude to the medical staff of Korea and the world."

Earlier that afternoon, before the senior secretaries and aides meeting chaired by President Moon at the Blue House, the Blue House staff also participated in the "Thanks to You Challenge." President Moon and key aides shouted together, "Thanks to the medical staff, thanks to the people," while performing the campaign's symbolic sign language gesture as a group.
