Tada Drivers Establish Union 'Seoul Platform Driver Union'
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] The Tada Driver Emergency Response Committee announced on the 27th that it has received the union establishment registration certificate from the Seoul Metropolitan Government. The official name is 'Seoul Platform Driver Union.'
The Seoul Platform Driver Union plans to carry out legal actions demanding confirmation of driver workers' status and payment of overdue wages against Tada, activities for institutional improvements to prevent a second Tada incident, and efforts to secure basic labor rights for platform drivers.
The union stated, "We are currently recruiting plaintiffs for the Tada driver lawsuit," and added, "We plan to submit the complaint to the court around the 1st of next month."
