"We'll See You Soon"... LGU+ Launches 'Untact' Cheer Message Campaign
Delivering Messages and Gifts to Loved Ones Such as Family and Friends on Behalf of Customers
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] LG Uplus announced on the 27th that it will conduct the 'See You Soon U+' support message campaign to convey heartfelt messages to precious people such as family and friends in celebration of Family Month.
The See You Soon U+ support message campaign is an untact (non-face-to-face) campaign in which LG Uplus delivers sincere messages and gifts on behalf of family or friends who want to express gratitude and support even though they cannot meet due to the social distancing normalized by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The event will be held throughout May. LG Uplus customers can submit stories and support messages targeting parents in the 1st week, children in the 2nd week, couples/spouses in the 3rd week, and friends in the 4th week. Each week, 1,000 people will be selected, delivering pink gift boxes and messages to a total of 4,000 customers.
Customers can choose one of two gift boxes. There is a general snack gift set common to weeks 1 to 4, and it is composed of a bouquet and immune vitamins for parents, a convenient meal set for children living alone, a home cooking set for couples/spouses, and a limited edition ramen set for friends.
There is also a social network service (SNS) event where the family or friends who received the gift can verify it through Instagram or Facebook, and the LG Uplus customer who wrote the support message will be given a mobile coffee exchange coupon.
Writing and submitting stories for parents in the 1st week is possible from April 29 to May 7 on the event menu of the LG Uplus official website. Winners can check their status via a notice on the website and individual text messages on May 12, and gifts and messages will be delivered to the recipients by May 15.
