Busan Club-Visited Daegu Teen COVID-19 Patient Contacts 123 People
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dong-hyun] It has been reported that 123 close contacts were identified for a teenage male patient who tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Daegu.
On the 26th, Busan City announced in the 'COVID-19 Response Situation Briefing' that as of the previous day, the confirmed patient A from Daegu had contacted 123 people in Busan (107 at clubs, 7 at sashimi restaurants, 6 at pojangmacha, and 3 at other locations), and these individuals are currently under self-quarantine.
Among A's contacts, two symptomatic individuals were tested for COVID-19, and both received negative results.
Additionally, it was found that 515 people visited the club in Seomyeon, Busan, which was included in A's movement path.
Health authorities have completed investigations on 388 reachable individuals who visited this club and have imposed self-quarantine measures on 81 visitors and 26 employees.

A health official stated, "We plan to complete the investigation of the remaining 127 individuals who have not been contacted by the end of today," and urged, "Those who visited the establishment and have not been contacted by the health center are requested to consult with the health center."
