Human Resources Development Service "Overseas Employment Online Briefing... Limited to First 100 Participants"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Human Resources Development Service of Korea will hold a total of four sessions of the 'Special Overseas Employment Briefing Connected Locally' starting from the 7th of next month.
This briefing will be conducted online in real-time every Thursday for one and a half hours to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The briefing times will be scheduled at different times considering the local time of the overseas residents seeking employment and the time difference with Korea where the job seekers are located.
Job seekers who wish to participate in the briefing can apply from the 27th on World Job Plus (worldjob.or.kr). To ensure smooth progress, the briefing will be conducted as a closed broadcast limited to the first 100 applicants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Embassy staff, Dutch office workers, Hong Kong hotel service workers, and international organization employees will explain to 100 job seekers the reasons for employment, preparation processes, and working conditions.
Through this opportunity, young people hoping for overseas employment will be able to consult with local employees about secrets to employment success, local working environments, and other questions they had during job preparation.
Meanwhile, the Overseas Employment Center of the Human Resources Development Service provides services such as ▲overseas employment counseling ▲overseas employment academy ▲country- and job-specific briefings ▲continuous recruitment hall and study room facility rentals to assist overseas employment. Recently, as part of 'social distancing,' online counseling services have been implemented.
