11 New COVID-19 Cases in China... "No Deaths Reported Yesterday"
On the 24th (local time), in an apartment in Beijing, China, where strict closed-off management continues to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), a resident wearing a mask is receiving delivered food through a door covered with barbed wire.
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] The number of newly confirmed COVID-19 cases in China on the 25th was reported to be 11.
The National Health Commission of China announced on the 26th (local time) that a total of 11 new cases were identified, including 5 imported cases and 6 locally transmitted cases. There were no deaths.
Among the locally transmitted cases, 5 were reported in Heilongjiang Province and 1 in Guangdong Province. The cumulative number of confirmed cases stands at 82,827, with a total of 4,632 deaths. So far, 77,394 patients have recovered, and 801 are currently receiving treatment.
There were 30 asymptomatic cases recorded, including 7 imported cases and 4 cases confirmed the previous day. The National Health Commission stated that a total of 1,000 asymptomatic infected individuals, including 151 imported cases, are under medical observation. Outside mainland China, the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan is 1,511.
