According to the Early Childhood Education Promotion Institute on the 24th, the customized videos consist of two types: educational activity materials titled "COVID-19 Prevention Rules with Ari and Arari" and "Jaemijuri - Traditional Games."
These videos were completed by forming an emergency task force team for the development of "online video support materials" due to the delay in kindergarten reopening. The entire process of planning, filming, and editing was carried out with the participation of current kindergarten teachers and institute staff.
The videos were uploaded on the homepage section "Jaemipang! Yeongsangpang!" to allow all institutions and parents in the field to easily and conveniently utilize them.
In particular, the song "Corona Chacha" inserted in the "COVID-19 Prevention Rules Video" was created through a talent donation by the Yangsan Boys and Girls Choir from Gyeongnam, adding special meaning.
Kindergarten teachers on site welcomed the materials, saying, "These are essential materials at this time," and added, "The content perfectly matches the developmental level of young children and kindergarten daily routines, and the song that children can easily sing along is appropriately inserted, so it is being very well utilized during emergency care hours."
A parent who watched the traditional games video said, "The materials in the video use items easily found at home, so the play was easy and enjoyable, allowing me to spend happy times with my children."
Director Ryu Bong-ja said, "Every scene of the video materials contains the hard work and sincerity of all participants, so I hope that this spirit is conveyed to kindergartens and each household and that the materials are widely used."
