Accordingly, NHK reported on the 24th that the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on this cruise ship has risen to 91.
After the first confirmed COVID-19 case was reported on the 20th, a mass outbreak was identified on the cruise ship. In response, Nagasaki Prefecture decided to conduct COVID-19 testing for all 623 crew members.
The Costa Atlantica, which entered Nagasaki Port on January 29th this year for maintenance work, has no passengers on board, only crew members.
