Seoul Reports Zero New COVID-19 Cases for Three Consecutive Days... Over 57% Have Already Recovered and Been Discharged

The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that from midnight on the 23rd to 10 a.m. on the 24th, no additional COVID-19 cases were confirmed. The number of confirmed cases from midnight on the 22nd to 10 a.m. the following day was also zero.
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Seoul showed a decreasing trend between the 12th and 20th (based on the date of confirmation), with daily cases of 8, 3, 5, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 1, and 2 respectively, and has remained at zero for three consecutive days since the 21st.
Currently, out of a total of 628 confirmed cases in Seoul, more than half?362 people (57.6%)?have been declared recovered and discharged, while 264 are receiving isolation treatment. There have been 2 deaths.

Looking at confirmed cases by district of residence in Seoul, Gangnam-gu, which has many overseas contacts, has the highest number with 62 cases, followed by Gwanak-gu with 42 cases, and Seocho and Songpa-gu with 37 cases each. When classified by major infection sources, overseas contact accounts for the largest number with 249 cases (39.6%).
