Dongseo Power, Donates COVID-19 Test Kits to Jamaica
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Korea East-West Power announced on the 23rd that it has provided medical supplies, including COVID-19 diagnostic kits, to Jamaica, where it operates overseas business sites.
East-West Power stated that it donated COVID-19 diagnostic equipment and kits worth $190,000 (approximately 230 million KRW) to the Jamaican Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Jamaica Public Service Foundation.
The diagnostic equipment and kits delivered this time were produced by CoGen Biotech, a domestic medical device company that received export approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
The quantity is sufficient to test approximately 5,000 people for COVID-19 infection.
