On the 23rd, the Seongdong Police Station in Seoul announced that it had applied for an arrest warrant for a woman in her 30s, identified as Ms. A, residing in Seongdong-gu, on charges of violating the Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Act.
Ms. A was supposed to remain in self-quarantine until the afternoon of the 11th but left her phone at home and visited restaurants in Mapo-gu on the 9th and 10th. It is reported that Ms. A informed the health authorities of her self-quarantine breach on the morning of the 11th. The police received a report from the district office around midnight on the 11th and began tracking her location but were unable to locate Ms. A.
