Gyeonggi-do 'Youth Meister Account' Receives 9,400 Applications... Competition Rate 1.89 to 1
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] It has been revealed that about 9,400 people applied for this year's 'Youth Meister Account' project, which provides work incentives to young people working at small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in Gyeonggi Province.
Gyeonggi Province announced on the 22nd that 9,453 people applied for the Youth Meister Account project, which aimed to recruit 5,000 participants, recording a competition rate of 1.89 to 1.
This is an increase of about 2,100 applicants compared to last year, when 7,353 people (1.47 to 1) applied for 5,000 spots.
By region, the number of applicants is as follows: Suwon-si 957, Hwaseong-si 914, Ansan-si 910, Seongnam-si 570, and Yongin-si 559.
The province will finalize the list of beneficiaries by comprehensively evaluating monthly salary, length of service, and period of residence in Gyeonggi Province after document screening by the 30th, and will announce the list on the Youth Worker Support Project website (https://www.jobaba.net) on the 6th of next month.
Youths selected as beneficiaries will receive up to 7.2 million KRW in local currency, paid quarterly at 900,000 KRW for two years.
The Youth Meister Account project targets young people aged 18 to 34 residing in the province who work at small and medium-sized manufacturing companies, with a monthly salary of 2.6 million KRW or less and working at least 36 hours per week.
