Gwangju University Extends 'Non-Face-to-Face Classes' Until the 8th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University (President Kim Hyukjong) announced on the 21st that it will extend non-face-to-face classes for an additional two weeks until the 8th of next month to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
With the additional extension, face-to-face classes are scheduled to begin on the 11th of next month.
To address the shortage of hours and quality issues in experimental and practical subjects caused by non-face-to-face classes, the supplementary period will be extended from the existing one week to two weeks.
The end of the semester has been postponed by three weeks from the original June 19th to July 10th.

We will do our best to enhance the delivery of online lectures and improve students’ academic achievement and participation.”
