Jeju Air Offers 10% Bonus on Refunds Replaced with 'Refresh Point'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Jeju Air announced on the 21st that until June 30, customers who cancel their flight reservations temporarily can choose to accumulate 'Refresh Points' instead of receiving a refund.
According to Jeju Air, under this policy, customers who choose to accumulate points instead of a refund will receive an additional 10% points on the final refund amount, excluding penalties and fees.
Customers who wish to receive a refund in points can apply by phone through the customer center, and the refund will be processed within 10 days from the application date. The reservation amount eligible for point substitution includes airfare, fuel surcharges, airport facility usage fees, and other flight reservation charges. Additional purchased ancillary service fees will be refunded excluding fees.
This point substitution refund event is only available to members who made direct reservations through Jeju Air’s website, mobile channels, or customer center. Customers who booked indirectly through travel agencies are not eligible. Additional points will not be provided for tickets purchased with points when refunded.
