The World Golf Hall of Fame officially announced on the 21st (Korean time) that "Former Commissioner Finchem has been selected as an inductee in the 2021 Contributors category." He is the third inductee in 2021, following the 'resurrected golf emperor' Tiger Woods and the late Marion Hollins (both from the U.S.). Finchem served as commissioner for an impressive 22 years, from his appointment in 1994 until his resignation in 2016, pioneering the golden era of the PGA Tour by expanding the golf market.
