Introduction to the Improvement of China's Air Pollution Regulation System and Operation of Incentive Programs
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Presidential Committee on Climate and Environment, established to address fine dust issues, announced on the 20th that it will publish the "Issue Report with Commentary" for the first time, which contains national policy trends and practical cases for solving fine dust problems.
The issue report, scheduled to be published twice a month, includes policy trends, statistics, and cases related to fine dust in neighboring countries including China this April, along with commentary from domestic and international experts. It is expected to help satisfy the public's thirst for accurate information.
In the first issue, Dr. Kim Eun-hwan from the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology introduced China's air pollution management policies and achievements since 2013.
