Professor Park Geon-woo Appointed as New President of the Korean Dementia Association
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyun-ui Cho] Professor Park Geon-woo of the Department of Neurology at Korea University Anam Hospital has been appointed as the new president of the Korean Dementia Association. His term is two years, starting from April 2020.
President Park currently serves as the director of the Korea University Institute of Elderly Health, head of the Dementia Safety Center in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, vice president of the Korean Neurological Association, executive director of the Korean Society of Geriatric Neurology, and president of the Cognitive Intervention Therapy Society.

President Park expressed his ambition, stating, "I will strive to make the association a brain bank for national dementia policies and a society that walks together with the people."
