Guro-gu announced on the 20th that with the issuance of Guro Sarang Gift Certificates, 5 billion KRW will be injected into the local Zero Pay market, and efforts are being made to expand Zero Pay加盟店 to enhance the convenience of using Guro Sarang Gift Certificates and increase sales for small business owners.
To revitalize the local economy weakened by COVID-19, Guro-gu issued the Guro Sarang Gift Certificates early on the 1st of this month, ahead of the originally scheduled issuance in June.
The total 5 billion KRW worth of Guro Sarang Gift Certificates is selling rapidly thanks to additional discounts and income deduction benefits.
Seoul City's 'Emergency Disaster Living Expenses' are also being provided as either local love gift certificates or prepaid cards by each autonomous district, further expanding the Zero Pay market size.
As the distribution of Guro Sarang Gift Certificates becomes active, demand for Zero Pay加盟店, where the gift certificates can be used, is expected to surge. Accordingly, Guro-gu plans to continuously increase the number of stores accepting Zero Pay, currently about 5,300.
To this end, Guro-gu operates two dedicated staff members and promotes the advantages of Zero Pay加盟店, such as reduced fees and increased demand, through newsletters and announcements on the district website.
