View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] On Sunday the 19th, the whole country will be mostly cloudy with rain nationwide. Rain will start in Jeju Island in the morning, expand to Jeollanam-do in the afternoon, and spread nationwide by night.
Expected precipitation until the 20th is 20-60mm in Jeju and the southern coast, and 5-30mm in the southern regions (excluding the southern coast) and Gangwon Yeongdong. Other areas are expected to receive around 5mm of rain.
In eastern and southern Jeju, as well as Jeju's mountainous areas, some places may receive a considerable amount of rain exceeding 80mm over two days. In the mountains, low clouds may reduce visibility more than usual, so extra attention to traffic safety is required.
The morning low temperature is forecasted to be between 6 and 12 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 12 and 19 degrees Celsius. Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions.
In Jeju, winds reaching 10-16 m/s may blow until dawn on the 20th. Strong winds may also occur along the southern coast, so care should be taken in managing facilities and preventing safety accidents.
Winds will gradually strengthen and waves will rise in all seas around Jeju and the eastern offshore waters of the southern sea. Ships navigating or fishing should pay close attention to weather information.
