Death of 39-Year-Old Woman in Daegu During COVID-19 Treatment
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] A woman in her 30s who was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Daegu and was receiving hospital treatment has died.
According to Daegu City on the 18th, Ms. A (39) passed away at Daegu Medical Center at 8:56 a.m. that day.
Ms. A showed symptoms such as fever on February 26 and was tested for COVID-19. She was confirmed positive on the 3rd of last month and was transferred to Daegu Medical Center two days later.
On the 14th, she was suspected of gastrointestinal bleeding and accompanied by symptoms of intestinal obstruction, and had been receiving treatment. She had an underlying condition of cerebral hemorrhage (arteriovenous malformation).
