Two Additional COVID-19 Cases Confirmed at Nonsan Army Training Center... Total Now 3 Cases
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Eun-byeol] Two additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported on the 18th among new recruits at the Nonsan Army Training Center in Chungnam.
According to Chungnam Province and Nonsan City, the confirmed cases are men in their 20s, both registered residents of Daegu. They were tested and confirmed positive at a screening clinic set up at the Army Training Center's district hospital.
The two individuals entered the training center on the 13th via a bus from the Daegu Military Manpower Administration. The city explained that they did not visit any locations within the Nonsan area. They were transferred to Daegu Dongsan Hospital, their local medical institution. Among 89 people who had contact with them during the training center admission process, all tested negative.

Previously, the first confirmed case at the Army Training Center was reported on the 17th. This man, residing in Changwon, Gyeongnam, tested positive and was discharged from the training center, then transferred to Masan Medical Center for treatment. Gyeongnam Province stated that he is a member of Shincheonji.
