Hyundai Motor Company Provides Paju Talent Development Center as Temporary Living Facility for Overseas Entrants with COVID-19
Support Including Over 60 Rooms in Accommodation Building and Outdoor Parking Lot

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 17th that it will provide the Paju Talent Development Center as a temporary living facility for overseas arrivals related to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Hyundai Motor's Paju Development Center will be used as a place to wait after specimen collection until the diagnostic test results are announced as part of the management and quarantine measures for overseas arrivals. Hyundai Motor is providing about 60 rooms in the accommodation building of the Paju Talent Development Center to Paju City and is also supporting the outdoor parking lot for the installation of testing facilities.
Opened in 1998, the Paju Talent Development Center is mainly operated for Hyundai Motor employees' job and language training.
A Hyundai Motor official said, "We expect that systematic and prompt treatment of COVID-19 patients will contribute to their quick recovery and prevention of further spread."

Meanwhile, last month, Hyundai Motor Group provided two training centers, the Gyeongju Campus of the Talent Development Institute and the Global Win-Win Cooperation Center in Gyeongbuk Gyeongju, as living treatment centers for mild patients in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions. On the 13th of this month, Kia Motors' Osan Education Center was provided as a living treatment center for mild COVID-19 patients.
