The court stated the sentencing reason, saying, "The crime of unauthorized use of vehicle license plates is a serious offense aimed at evading legitimate public authority enforcement such as police crackdowns, and is a preparatory act for other crimes. In particular, the defendant repeatedly failed to appear in court, ultimately ignored summons, and cut off contact, showing poor criminal attitude, thus a prison sentence was imposed."
