230 New COVID-19 Cases in the Philippines... Total Exceeds 5,400

According to local Philippine media on the 15th, the Philippine Department of Health announced that 230 new COVID-19 cases were reported that day, bringing the total confirmed cases to 5,453. There were also 14 deaths, raising the total number of fatalities due to COVID-19 to 349.
Since the 11th, the Philippines has been reporting more than 200 new confirmed cases daily. Although a lockdown has been imposed nationwide, the number of infections continues to rise.
