7 Additional COVID-19 Cases in Seoul... All Overseas Entrants or Contacts
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] Seven new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Seoul, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 619.
According to Seoul City on the 15th, seven people were confirmed positive between midnight on the 14th and 10 a.m. on the 15th.
Among them, five recently entered the country from overseas, with the countries visited being the United States (2), Spain (1), the United Kingdom (1), and Ireland (1).
The remaining two additional confirmed cases are also presumed to have been infected through contact with other patients who were confirmed positive after entering the country from abroad.
As a result, the total number of confirmed cases in Seoul has increased to 619, of which 239 have been declared recovered and discharged, and 378 are currently in isolation.

By cause of infection, those related to overseas contact are the largest group with 242 cases, followed by 98 cases related to the Guro-gu call center, 41 cases related to Guro Manmin Central Church, and 20 cases related to Dongdaemun-gu church and PC rooms.
