Winenara and Going Merry Open New Branch at Eulji Twin Tower... Showcasing 'Newtro' Vibes
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Sunghye] Wine Nara announced on the 15th that it will open a new store at the convenience store Going Merry Eulji Twin Tower branch.
Wine Nara explained that the combination of Going Merry's unique menu items such as wine, yokai ramen, and concept dumplings, which were sold at the first and second branches, received a good response, so they prepared a space at the Going Merry Eulji Twin Tower branch to showcase a wine specialty retail shop.
In particular, the third branch, Eulji Twin Tower, will open with the concept of "Merry Sanghoe," reminiscent of a back-alley market, incorporating a newtro (a trend of enjoying retro in a new way) sensibility. In addition to Wine Nara, eight leading domestic food and beverage brands that fit well with the convenience store concept also joined the store.
The cooking studio space, introduced for the first time at Going Merry Eulji Twin Tower, allows for cooking classes and online cooking broadcasts, enabling visiting customers to easily experience and create content. Various content production is possible, including pairing events enjoying Going Merry's diverse menu with wine, small-scale wine tasting events, and new product tasting events.
Wine Nara prepared about 50 products, ranging from affordable daily wines such as Alpaca Cabernet Merlot and Long Cloud Reserve Sauvignon Blanc, which can be enjoyed lightly in-store, to premium wines like Bonterra Merlot and Piper-Heidsieck Cuv?e Brut for discerning female office workers, in line with the Going Merry Eulji Twin Tower concept. In addition, they are planning collaborations with tenant brands using wines with unique labels. As the first collaboration, they plan to introduce white wines that pair best with sashimi together with Noryangjin Hyungje Sanghoe.
