This marks the 11th consecutive tournament suspension following the Daikin Orchid Ladies, Yokohama Tire, T-Point x ENEOS, AXA Ladies, Yamaha Ladies, Studio Alice Ladies, KKT Cup Panterin Ladies, Fujisankei Ladies, Panasonic Open, and World Ladies Salonpas Cup. If there are no further cancellations, the first tournament of the 2020 season will be the Chukyo TV Bridgestone Ladies Open (total prize money of 70 million yen), which will open on May 22 at Chukyo Golf Club in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
