View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in South Korea increased to 10,537 on the 13th.
The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that as of midnight on that day, the number of confirmed domestic cases increased by 25 compared to the previous day.
Six patients were identified during the quarantine process. Additional patients in the metropolitan area and Daegu-Gyeongbuk regions were 12 and 7, respectively.
By region, no additional patients were reported outside the metropolitan area and Daegu-Gyeongbuk. Seoul had the highest number with 8, followed by Gyeongbuk (4), Daegu (3), Gyeonggi (3), and Incheon (1).

The number of patients who were declared recovered and released from isolation increased by 79 from the previous day to 7,447. The death toll rose by 3 during the same period to 217.
