Candidate Jang Byung-wan: "We Definitely Need Experienced Lawmakers Who Can Secure Budgets Well and Are Competent"
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Candidate Jang Byeong-wan (Gwangju Metropolitan City Dongnam-gap) appealed on the 12th, "Please give me the last chance to work for Nam-gu."
Candidate Jang Byeong-wan said, "For 10 years, I have not lost my original intention and have focused solely on Nam-gu, working for the development of Gwangju," and emphasized, "Now, as the COVID-19 economic crisis becomes a reality, a capable member of the National Assembly who can secure a large amount of national budget for the development of our financially strained Gwangju is desperately needed."
Candidate Jang expressed concern, saying, "However, Democratic Party candidates are boasting that they can do what even the mayor and governor cannot do and telling people not to worry about the budget," and "All eight Gwangju candidates are practically 'rookies' with no national government experience at all."
He continued, "I have the capability to secure the KRW 1.8 trillion budget for the electrification of the Gyeongjeon Line, which neither the mayor nor the governor could secure, and as you have seen over the past 10 years, I have developed Nam-gu and Gwangju," and claimed, "Gwangju definitely needs a senior lawmaker capable of securing budgets to solve major pending projects."
