According to Nielsen Korea, the 6th episode of JTBC's 'The World of the Married,' aired on the 11th, recorded nationwide ratings of 18.816% and 21.4% in the metropolitan area based on paid broadcasting households. This figure surpassed 'Itaewon Class' (16.5%), which had the second-highest ratings among JTBC dramas, within just three weeks of airing.
In the episode, Ji Sun-woo (played by Kim Hee-ae) revealed to her son (played by Lee Jun-young) the betrayal of his father, Lee Tae-oh (played by Park Tae-joon). However, Jun-young pleaded for his parents not to divorce and refused to give up on his father. In response, Sun-woo lured Tae-oh into hitting her, allowing her son to witness the act. Seeing this, Jun-young drew a line, saying, "I'm not Dad's son anymore."
Eventually, Sun-woo succeeded in divorcing her husband Lee Tae-oh. However, at the end of the broadcast, Tae-oh returned after two years with Yeo Da-kyung (played by Han So-hee), foreshadowing a tumultuous development.
