7 More Confirmed Cases in Daegu... Total Domestic COVID-19 Cases Reach 10,480 (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Joselgina] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in South Korea increased to 10,480 on the 11th.
The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that as of midnight on that day, the number of confirmed domestic cases increased by 30 compared to the previous day.
The daily new confirmed cases have consistently recorded double digits, with 47 cases on the 6th, 47 on the 7th, 53 on the 8th, 39 on the 9th, and 27 on the previous day.
Six patients were identified during the quarantine process. In Seoul, 4 new confirmed cases were reported. In Daegu, which recorded zero confirmed cases the previous day, a total of 7 new cases were added, including 1 imported case.
By region, Gyeonggi had the highest number with 9 cases, followed by Daegu, Seoul, Gyeongbuk (3 cases), and Ulsan (1 case).
