Minsheng Party: "Mirae Tonghapdang, Stop Delaying Discussions on Emergency Disaster Relief Funds"
"If You Empathize with the National Disaster Situation, You Must Meet Immediately"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Jang Jeong-suk, floor leader of the Minsaeng Party, on the 9th strongly urged the Democratic Party of Korea and the United Future Party to “hold a meeting of floor leaders of negotiation groups to discuss the issue of emergency disaster relief funds.”
Floor leader Jang said at a briefing at the National Assembly on the same day, “Lee In-young, floor leader of the Democratic Party, agreed to Minsaeng Party’s proposal, but the United Future Party still has no response,” and added, “If they agree that this is a national disaster situation, they must meet immediately.”
Floor leader Jang pointed out, “The United Future Party’s hypocritical attitude is problematic. I hope they will no longer delay and clearly state if they oppose it,” and said, “The people are going through each day with a tense feeling, and small business owners and self-employed people suffering from a sales cliff are even pitching tents and camping outside banks just to get a loan.”
