A golf fan has filed a lawsuit accusing the "resurrected golf emperor" Tiger Woods (USA, photo) and his caddie of assault. According to a report by the Associated Press on the 9th (Korean time), Brian Buruso, who lives in Florida, USA, submitted a complaint claiming that he was pushed and fell by Woods' caddie Joe LaCava at the PGA Tour Valspar Championship two years ago. Buruso's lawyer stated, "When Buruso tried to take a photo of Woods with his cellphone on the 13th hole green at Innisbrook Golf Course, LaCava intentionally pushed him down." He added, "The lawsuit was filed two years after the incident to obtain more information and assess the extent of injuries," and explained, "We are looking for witnesses who were present at the scene." Woods, who had undergone back surgery, chose the Valspar Championship as his comeback tournament in March 2018 and finished tied for second place.
